Platform and data fees

What is included and what is not.

Updated September 11, 2026

Three different parties can bill a futures trader: us, Rithmic, and whoever makes the platform. This page is what each one charges you for.

What we charge

The price of the account, once. Nothing for the platform, nothing for data, and nothing to activate a funded account. How pricing works

A reset is the only other thing you can buy from us.

What is included

Level 1 live data for the exchanges you can trade: CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX. That is the best bid and the best ask, which is what your charts and the ladder run on. What you can trade

Depth of market is not included and cannot be bought from us. Anything built on the full book — Level 2 ladders, Market by Order, depth histograms — will turn on and stay empty. What is included

What you buy yourself

Some platforms cost nothing. Others need a licence or a subscription of their own before they will connect, and which ones do is on the supported platforms page, along with the tier each one needs. Those are bought from the vendor, billed by the vendor, and priced by the vendor. We do not resell them and we cannot discount them.

The bill people give themselves

On your first login you accept the CME market data agreements, and one of them asks whether you use the data as a professional or a non-professional. Nobody picks for you.

Non-professional is what almost everyone here is, and it is what your account includes. Professional means you hold a financial licence, work for a financial firm, or use the data for a business rather than your own trading — and it is billed by Rithmic, per exchange, every month, to you.

Certifying professional by accident in a dialog you clicked through on day one is the one way to end up with a recurring bill on an account we sell as a one-time purchase.

Commissions and exchange fees

Your account is simulated, the costs on it are not waived. Commissions and exchange fees are applied to the balance the same way they would be on a live account, and they come off before profit is counted — for a payout, and for a winning day.
