Lumen Futures
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Lumen Futures LLC ("Lumen Futures," "we," "our," or "us") is a Texas limited liability company. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, when you visit lumenfutures.com or any other website or application where this policy is posted (collectively, the "Site"), or when you use our evaluation and funded trading programs and related products and services (together with the Site, the "Services"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy does not apply to information collected offline, by third parties, or through websites and applications we do not operate, including trading platforms, data-feed providers, payment processors, identity-verification providers, and community platforms such as Discord, each of which is governed by its own privacy policy.
Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Services. We may update this policy from time to time (see "Changes to This Policy" below); your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users:
- Information you provide directly. This includes information submitted when you create an account, purchase a plan, request a payout, contact support, join our mailing list or community, apply to our affiliate program, or otherwise fill in forms on the Site, such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, and records of your correspondence with us.
- Identity-verification and payout information. To meet our compliance obligations and to pay you, our identity-verification and payment providers may collect government-issued identification and financial account details (such as bank account and routing numbers). This information is collected and processed by those providers under their own privacy policies; we generally receive verification results and transaction confirmations, not the underlying documents or full payment card numbers.
- Trading activity. Information about activity in your evaluation and funded accounts, including orders, positions, performance statistics, and rule-compliance data, which we use to operate the programs, assess evaluations, administer payouts, and detect prohibited conduct.
- Support assistant conversations. The questions and messages you send to the assistant in the support panel, the email address you give before starting a conversation, whether you marked an answer helpful, and the IP address the request came from, which we use to limit abuse of the assistant. The conversation is also kept in your own browser so it survives a reload, and is described under Data Retention below.
- Information collected automatically. As you navigate the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect usage details, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, and session information, using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
Biometric Information
We do not collect, process, or store biometric identifiers, including facial geometry, fingerprints, voiceprints, or retina or iris scans. Where identity verification involves a liveness check or a facial match against your identification document, that check is performed by our third-party verification provider under its own privacy policy. We receive the outcome of the check and the identity details we need to operate your account, not the underlying biometric templates.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure audience size and usage patterns, and improve the Services. We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools that set their own cookies or pixels to help us understand how the Site is used and to measure the performance of our marketing. You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies or to alert you when cookies are set; if you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly. We do not control third parties' tracking technologies; for information about opting out of interest-based advertising, visit the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.
Do Not Track and opt-out preference signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to Do Not Track browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them. Where we are required to treat a universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, we honor that signal for the browser or device it is sent from.
Support Assistant and Chat
The support panel on this Site answers questions using an automated assistant. To produce an answer, the text of your message, the questions you asked earlier in the same conversation, and excerpts from our published help center are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider that generates the reply on our behalf. That provider processes the content under our agreement with it and does not use your conversations to train its models. Answers are drawn from our published help center; the assistant is not a person and cannot access your account.
Please do not include sensitive information in a conversation. Account credentials, government-issued identification numbers, full payment card or bank account details, and health or similar sensitive personal information are never needed to answer a support question. If a question requires those details, a member of our team will ask you for them through a secure channel.
We ask for an email address before a conversation starts so that a person can reply if the assistant cannot answer, and so we can follow up on the question you asked. If you choose to send your conversation to a person, the messages exchanged in that conversation are included so the person answering can see what was already asked.
Telling us whether an answer was helpful is optional. We record the verdict together with the question it was about, and use it only to find gaps in our help center and improve what we publish.
How We Use Your Information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including personal information:
- To operate and provide the Services, including processing evaluations, funded accounts, and payouts.
- To create and manage user accounts and verify your identity.
- To process transactions and send related notices, including confirmations and account or billing communications.
- To perform compliance screening and prevent fraud, including detecting prohibited trading conduct.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support, including operating the automated support assistant and passing a conversation to a person when one is needed.
- To send you marketing communications you have not opted out of, and to measure their performance.
- To analyze usage and improve the Site, our programs, and our services.
- To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts between you and us.
- To notify you about changes to the Services or our terms and policies.
- For tax, accounting, legal, and risk-management purposes.
- For any other purpose described to you when you provide the information, or with your consent.
How We Disclose Your Information
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information about our users without restriction. We may disclose personal information:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, such as technology and hosting providers, the artificial-intelligence provider that generates support assistant replies, trading-platform and data-feed partners, identity-verification providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and customer-support tools, all of whom are bound to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, restructuring, or sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, in which personal information is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, for any other purpose disclosed when you provide it, or with your consent.
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to government or regulatory requests; to enforce our Terms & Conditions and other agreements; or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lumen Futures, our customers, or others, including exchanging information for fraud protection.
We do not sell your personal information. Some state privacy laws treat the use of analytics and advertising technologies as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising; you can opt out as described under Cookies and Analytics and Your Choices.
Your Choices
- Marketing emails. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us at support@lumenfutures.com. Opting out does not apply to transactional or account-related communications.
- Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings as described above.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@lumenfutures.com. We may be unable to delete information where retention is required for legal, tax, regulatory, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes, and we may decline requests we cannot verify or that would violate a legal requirement.
Your U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states) may give you additional rights, such as the right to confirm whether we process your personal information; to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of it; and to opt out of targeted advertising, sales of personal information, or certain profiling. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@lumenfutures.com with enough information for us to verify your identity and understand your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and you may appeal a denial by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Users Outside the United States
The Services are operated from the United States, and your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing of your personal information, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@lumenfutures.com; we will respond within one calendar month.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, for example for tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes. When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will take reasonable measures to delete or anonymize it.
Support conversations in your browser.A conversation with the support assistant, and the email address you gave to start it, are stored on your own device so the conversation survives closing the tab. They are removed after seven days, and are removed immediately if you clear this site's data in your browser. Starting a new question in the panel clears the conversation it replaces.
A message you send to our team, the conversation attached to it, and the email address you gave may also appear in our own server logs, where they are retained for a short period while your message is answered and then deleted on our ordinary log-retention schedule.
Data Security
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The safety of your information also depends on you: where you have a password for the Services, you are responsible for keeping it confidential, and information you share in public areas, including community spaces such as Discord, may be viewed by anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to the Services; any transmission is at your own risk.
Children Under 18
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and no one under 18 may provide any information to the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe we might have any information from or about a person under 18, please contact us at support@lumenfutures.com.
Changes to This Policy
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes to how we treat personal information, we will provide notice on the Site's homepage or by email. You are responsible for periodically reviewing this policy for changes.
