General information. Lumen Futures LLC ("Lumen Futures," "we") is a Texas limited liability company. Everything published on this website is general information only. Nothing here is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing constitutes an offer, solicitation, endorsement, or recommendation to buy or sell futures, options, securities, or any other financial product. Lumen Futures is not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or financial advisor, and does not accept client deposits; amounts paid to Lumen Futures are program fees, not deposits. Lumen Futures is not registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission or the National Futures Association, and is not a member of any self-regulatory organization; our programs are not regulated financial products and are not covered by any investor protection or compensation scheme. Use of this site and our programs is at your own risk; consult your own advisors before making financial decisions.
Risk disclosure. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose all of your initial outlay, or more, and you should only ever trade with risk capital: money you can afford to lose without affecting your financial security or lifestyle. Past performance of any trader, program, or financial product is not indicative of future results. All trading decisions within our programs are made solely by the individual participant.
Simulated performance (CFTC Rule 4.41). Accounts provided under Lumen Futures programs are simulated trading environments using live market data. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading, and because the trades have not been executed, results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity. Simulated programs are also designed with the benefit of hindsight and do not involve financial risk, which can materially affect real trading results. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Permitted instruments. Participants in Lumen Futures programs trade futures products listed on CME, COMEX, NYMEX, and CBOT exclusively. Stocks, options, forex, spot cryptocurrency, and CFDs are outside the scope of our programs.
Testimonials. Any testimonials or trader results that may appear on this site reflect individual experiences, may not be representative of other participants, and are not a guarantee of future performance or success. Decisions made on the basis of such content are the sole responsibility of the individual.
